Born in Tehran at the height of the Iranian Revolution, Ms. Boniadi’s parents relocated to London shortly thereafter. Later she moved to the United States to attend the University of California Irvine where she received her Bachelor’s Degree, with Honors in Biological Sciences. Ms. Boniadi then decided to study acting, which included training in Contemporary Drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Ms. Boniadi’s first major credit was “General Hospital” for which she received a 2008 NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series. She has also acted in “Iron Man” and “The Next Three Days”. She has also appeared in several independent features including the forthcoming culture clash romantic comedy “Shirin In Love”. Her most recent acting experience is at Showtime TV series, “Homeland”.
